India’s homegrown Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL), today announced that it now enables contactless payments for car parking at Prestige Group’s Forum Falcon City Mall in Bengaluru using FASTag. With this, users visiting the mall won’t have to search for change or wait in line at a payment booth, they can simply drive in and out of the parking lot without any cash transactions.

Together with Secure Parking Solutions, a vehicle parking management and technology company, PPBL is also in the process of setting up similar systems at two more sites — Forum Rex Walk Mall and Forum Mall Kochi with FASTag.

Paytm Payments Bank will facilitate the processing of all FASTag-based transactions for cars with a valid FASTag sticker. This will be beneficial during peak hours or busy shopping seasons when parking lots are crowded.
